Thanks for the report. I'm glad you had a good time on the Moosecamp River. Can't believe it was only 3 dams on it - last June I had maybe 7? And I also can't believe you paddled through from Bullet to Moosecamp.
Nine is a big group, but it's great to introduce the kids - and new adults - the BW.

Yes, we paddled through from Bullet to Moose camp with absolutely no problem at all!!! At the EP23 (mudro) we could have put in right at the parking lot and skipped the 30 Rod portage with no problems but didnt.

Thanks for the report - it brought back memories of my trip through the Mudro EP one Sept. You had a lot more water than I did, so I decided to skip the Moosecamp River. Sometimes I wish I had gone ahead and done it anyway.

quote iwegean: "MN fishing opener is the second weekend in May. Be careful out there.
Could have made for a bad experience if you got caught."
We just went out May 30th.. Trip report has an error and keeps changing my trip date. I keep correcting it and saving it, yet it changes back. Dont worry, im not like that!!
I think i got the dates fixed :)

Wow, Nice trip, and 9 folks. I have never done 9, think I would kill someone if we had 9 :)
Well, I am so glad you took the kids, and caught some fish. They will never forget the trip, or will you! I love these kind of trips, as it is a great memory and bonding for folks with kids.
The food sounded great, and the trip looked like a lot of fun, especially the turtle races.
Thanks for the report

Nice report Aaron. It seems your group had a wonderful time. Are those youngsters chomping at the bit to get back? I bet they are. I'm glad everything went so well for you.
Call me sometime and we can meet for a beer somewhere.
