I just got back about 2:00 am this morning from my first solo trip. I put in at Mudro and stayed out for 4 days. It was great!
I was expecting things to be harder but it was a bit more than I thought. Portaging without a helper is a lot of work. I usually single portage and I had to double this time to be extra safe. Paddling is slower and it's tough when you don't have another paddler to keep the boat on track while resting. Camp chores take a lot of time without someone to share the load.
With all of that said, I still loved it. I love the silence, all I could hear as the wind blowing through the trees and the sound of nature doing it's thing around me.
I was worried about getting spooked at night from irrational fears of all the little noises that go bump in the night. The first nigh I was tired, buzzed, and I fell asleep right away. I even brought ear plugs and never used them.
This was my first time relying only on my new hammock. I think I am going to do that more in the future. I slept great with no back pain. I was a bit concerned about the extra time to set up compared to a tent but I think it was pretty much the same amount of time.
I also brought an IPOD Touch fully loaded with a variety of podcasts. I never usually listen to music or anything else on trips but this was a nice thing to have when you have no one else to talk to but yourself. It has a built in speaker and is very quiet I would turn it on and put it in my pocket while I sipped my coffee by the lake. I will do that on my next solo as well.
Thanks for all the support in this group with my questions and your answers to other's questions. I am already thinking about my next solo.

OK so now you've gone and done and done it //// gone and got yourself addicted to Solo tripping. Welcome to a new adventure FRED
Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked, the good fourtune to remember the ones do, and the eyesight to tell the differance.
