Do you take pre-packaged condiments? The type from restauraunts? Ketchup, mustard packets and stuff.
What are your favorite types/brands and restauraunts to take them from? I'm talking any type of condiment in a little packet. Mustard, relish, soy sauce, jelly, syrup, ketchup...anything.

I save up hot sauce packets from a certain taco chain, salad dressing packets from prepackaged salad kits, and mustard and mayo from a certain bread restaurant chain. I had some soy sauce packets from take out at Leeann Chin’s in the past. Many fast food restaurants no longer have condiment packets available to customers that don’t specifically ask for them. I was told you can get some if you buy something at Cub Foods deli though.

I collect a lot from panera but my favorite was A1 from culvers - haven't seen them for a few years.

We don't eat in fast food restaurants much, so I just order my packets of condiments from Packit Gourmet online. I get catsup, mustard (if I want it, but usually don't), Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and both peanut butter and almond butter. Oh, and two flavors of really good Bonne Maman jam. They have just about any condiment you could want, and you can order just the number of packets you want.

We take real maple syrup every year and take that in a squeeze Bob Evans honey bottle. Little packets won't do. :-)

We bring a small jar of peanut butter, squeeze jelly, tartar sauce for fish and some hot sauce packets from Taco Bell for fish tacos. That's the extent of our condiments.

I used to bring lots of different condiment packs, but am finding that I don't end up using that many of them so I'm starting to weed many of them out.

One thing that I do like to bring are these Justin's packets of nut butter (peanut, hazel, almond, etc.). You can buy individual packets at Target for about a $1.

Thanks for the Packit Gourmet info. They have a lot of stuff. I'll dig further into the website later

Brown mustard for summer sausage, cheese, and wasa bread. Really "seals the deal."

This has nothing to do with condiments, but I recommend their strawberry cheesecake, and the carrot-raisin salad is pretty good, too, but is a HUGE portion!

I've ordered from here before. It's kind of fun to go on a shopping spree and only spend $20. :)

I have found out that a local pizza establishment has packets of tobasco available. I have smuggled in a bottle of the stuff on previous trips, but now, thanks to the good people at Shakespeare's Pizza, I should be able to have a clean conscience and be glass free.

I go to Rainbow Foods and buy a massive sandwich from the deli and collect some mayo, ketchup and mustard packets. Who doesn't put ketchup on their ham sandwich?? ;)

Packets of Tobasco? Not the teeny tiny little glass bottles? Very cool. I must find these packets. I used up all my little tobasco bottles long ago. I got them all from MRE's in the military.
I'll have to find a Shakespeare's Pizza. Don't think I have been to one in a long time.

The only Shakespeare's Pizza is in Columbia, MO. We have three of them here. The next time I am in, I will try to find out their source for these.

I always take HONEY. I ussually take 2 oz or 4 oz Nalgene with flip top lid so I can squeeze it out on top of my oatmeal in the morning, and put it on my frybread or muffins from the reflector oven.
It is not a mini-packet, but is scrumpcious!

I don't want to highjack this thread nor endorse any store but when my youngest son was on his second deployment to the Persian Gulf last year, He's there again now, I sent him some care packages and wanted to send him some condiments, I was getting fuel at our local FleetFarm and they had a great assorment of codiments in the grill section, I asked the manager if I could buy a bunch to send to him, he said they aren't for sale but gave me a box and told to me to fill it up and send them with his blessing, they were a great hit with CJ and his shipmates aboard the JOHN C STENNIS CVN 74. Always take a small empty spice shaker and fill it with old bay, very good on fish.
Wife will snag us some of them little packets of lemon juice and tarter sauce as well from her work.

I use a small 2oz squeeze bottle of Siracha. It's good on everything. Even a doughnut! Warning!!!!!!! This sauce has been known to cause an increase in tp usage so plan accordingly.

I love the Siracha, but for me, a little goes a long way. I have crossed the line a couple of times and you cannot take it off. Lots of sweating and guzzling of water.

Along this line, at my local Hyvee Grocery, they have a sushi section. They have packets of Wasabi. The first time I used them, I thought they would be tamed down like many things in the Hyvee cafeteria. I used the whole packet to fire up some Chinese food. Lots of sweating and guzzling of water.

I like about all of them; honey, jelly, horseradish sauce, taco sauce,....my favorite is dusseldorf mustard. Especialy after day three on hard salami/swiss sandwiches.

Seems everyone has covered the basic's and Old Bay is great on everything..........

I was shown a seasoning mix that you make yourself a long time ago that is 4 parts salt to 1 part cayanne pepper. Works pretty dang well on just about everything in the woods. So why not play around and make your own seasoning mix?

Hot sauce for fish tacos and breakfast burritos. Other than that, nothing, unless tequila counts...

01/28/2013 07:00PM
I don't take them cause, I feel guilty doing that, sounds silly, but bothers me to do that. I actually have asked for them and paid for them, some folks charge me, and some won't take anything for them.

I like taco sauce from taco johns
relish in the packets from any gas station

I repack HONEY into a small 4 oz Nalgene. I put it in my oatmeal and on my muffins from the reflector oven.

There are quite a few little food itms being packaged in small cups that are convenient to carry. Peanut butter & Nutella both come in small tubs. As does BBQ sauce, ranch, honey mustard & cheese sauce-found at 7-11. Target has little cups of gherkin dill pickles..had to throw that out, they are a nice addition to lunch. There is a fantastic site called minimus.biz they sell one or a hundred of any item you need in travel sizes, including every condiment you can think of and then some. I have purchased olive oil packets at REI. As well, good luck.

Here is something new...

Sriracha to go

Also they have these:

Mini bottles

1 oz and 1.69 oz

For those that need a little heat, bottles would be good for lots of things.

There is not enough in those the way my wife and I use it. We would have to bring the big plastic bottle.

The stuff that comes from taco bell is always part of the kit and we found some "sweet chili sauce" that we repackaged into small squeeze bottles that finds its way into just about everything

I was at Starbucks today and noticed some squeeze packets of sriracha. I also saw real honey at noodles and co. I'd rather get a few of those than the fake honey from KFC that I've collected in the past.

IF you read the label from the "honey" at KFC it is not honey but corn syrup, at least it used to be.

I found these at Target. Serving size is 2 packs. Lots of unnecessary packaging. If you really like it & use a lot, a food tube is probably the way to go. I'm bringing a couple to mix it up a bit. Nice for a change...is it a condiment? It is to me...

BTW if anyone really wants to find those "I can't live without them" condiments; Minimus probably has them.

Anything from honey to tabasco to plain salt and pepper

I for sure bring in 2 sticks of Butter. Will fill my condiment packs from GSI with olive oil and coconut aminos for flavoring. Also plan to stock up on taco sauce and Crushed red pepper!

For DIY option you can make your own small packets of condiments using thoseFreeze Pop tubes. Just clean them out good and then fill and cut to size. Seal using the heat sealer on a vac sealer. Another option is to use the vac seal bags cut down smaller.

I like the mayo packets or spicy mustard. I just pick them up at Panera or Target when I buy a sandwich.

Got my entire kitchen clean before our trip... so went to LeAnn Chins tonight and stocked up on soy sauce and having Toxic Hell tomorrow night (or probably Zantigos) to stock up on Taco sauce since I'm making tacos one night in the B-Dub. Also while not a condiment, planning to bring in a baggie of crushed red pepper.
