I really don't want to spend $135 for a yoke wandering the best way to attach it to the sides for quick on and off, making center piece this weekend.

Use the gunnel clamping ones, easy on and off. tighten as required.

I also really like the Spring Creek clamps, seemed to hold as good if not better than the aluminum ones but far less likely to scratch or dent the gunwales. I made mine from a basic tandem walnut yoke, would have made it from scratch but the tandem blank was cheap enough that it didn't make sense to drive to the lumber yard and buy a chunk of walnut.

Midwest Mountaineering in Minneapolis stocks them, bought mine from there, saved me shipping, good option if you live in the Twin cities metro.

Ragged, I know I have said it before , but that is beautiful work on that yoke. I love the aluminum (?) inlay for the screw bolt to pass though. Classy and elegant.

Yoke made just waiting for clamps, not as nice as Raggeds but will do the job.

Done, now I can start adjusting from here.
