Not a new map, but maybe it will help with some preliminary planning. This is a little different campsite map than I've seen floating around. It was produced in 2009, but it differentiates between green "confirmed campsites" and brown "unconfirmed campsites." Downside--there are no lake names, so you do have to be familiar with the shapes of various lakes.

Update on the Park Map - Chrismar Mapping Services are working on a new WCPP canoe route map to add to their very popular Adventure Series map. It will be a waterproof colored map, high quality much like the rest of their maps in this series. We are very excited about this new product and it is worth the wait.
Chrismar informed us that they should have a finished product by end of May. In the meantime, we are reprinting paper copies of our current park map as we have run out of the waterproof maps (bround and beige map). If anyone absolutely needs a map NOW for planning purpose, the paper map can be sent to them for a minimal fee to cover shipping. Order by phoning the Ontario Parks office in Red Lake (807) 727-1329.
Harlan will also have these paper maps available for his clients. There will be a park presence at both Canoecopia and Midwest Mountaineering Outdoor Adventure Expo where paper maps will be availble for a mininal fee.

We are super excited about the new maps. Chris and I seem to have lots and lots of them, so we'll have another to add to our collection. We have talked about moving our trip to August this year (considered going in May/June), which by then we'd have the new maps-yay! :) Not so yay that we aren't going soon, but any trip to WCPP is worth the wait. Thanks for sharing the information and see you at Midwest Expo!
