Going up to help the "man-wife" (as my daughters call him) move into his and his real wife's retirement home in Grand Rapids tomorrow. We hope to get some skiing and lake trout fishing (and a little jamming) worked into the weekend as well. There are some great ski trails in the area including Blueberry Hills, Soumi, and the Joyce estate. Full report upon my return. Skiied the Joyce Estate on Trout Lake. Very good conditions. They have about 10 inches of snow with 3-4 inches of powder on top of the ice that formed after that bout of rain we had a few weeks ago. Didn't get a chance to fish trout, but had a good jam session after dinner last night and got all the heavy stuff moved in. The house isn't complete yet, but here are a couple of shots from the views from their windows and the dining room.
