I will be going on a two night excursion, March 22-24 in the Ely area. Before I invest in a sled, I thought I'd rent one. I'd like to try out the plastic toboggan style with lashing system. Go to craigs list. I just rented an 8' sled from a guy named Mike up in Ely this past weekend. He had a 3 person snow trekker tent, stove and sled. He advertises on Craigs list.

Very helpful and nice guy. He has experience with winter camping and would also be a good resource for you.

You can use mine if you come over to monticello and pick it up.
