Thats beautiful Pat! Are you going to cut a hole in the S. side of your house and install it as a window? It will really come to life with sunlite shining through it!

It's Finished! After much soldering....then cleaning then rubbing copper patina on, then more washing....then windex...all I have to do now is install some trim, and paint. And yes! bruceye, it is on the south side....beside our front door.

That's really something beautiful. Can you tell how this comes about? Where do all the different pieces come from? How did you learn to do this?

Tom,
I took some classes 30+ years ago, then I just kept making windows and stuff....here are some old pictures.
Each piece is cut.... then put on a grinder to smooth it out and make it fit exactly, then wrapped in copper foil then soldered together. It is a very old method dating back to the middle ages.
