Hello everyone! Its been awhile since I last posted in this forum, so please forgive me!

I am entering Stuart River in mid August of this year for my second solo. Last August I went in EP 16 and looped up through LLC, Lady Boot, Pocket and Finger, then back down through Gebe, Rocky, Green and back out the Nina Moose River. Needless to say, I'M HOOKED ON SOLOING! It was an intense 4 night, 5 day trip, and I plan on being out for the same amount of time while exploring Stuart entry.

My goal is to camp on Stuart first night and enjoy the lake and do some fishing. Then, wake up early day 2 and land a decent sport on Iron for the a night or two. The plan is to then paddle through Iron to Bottle Portage, head down to Boulder River and take the Dahlgren River back to Stuart.

Can anyone give me any pointers in regards to river and portage conditions when going this route and time of year? Any fishing advice for Stuart and Iron? Any advice is much appreciated, so please help out if you can! Thanks!

If you have not already done so, you may want to try posting this in the Trip Planning forum also.
