What's the best way to store digital videos these days, safely and long term. They sure take up a lot of space even short clips. Thanks in advance.

Hard drives for both digital photos and video. I have many old hard drives, and use them for portable/external storage with a hard drive toaster dock, saving copies to multiple disks.

Butthead,
I use a very similar external hard drive. I told it out of my old computer before I junked it.
I back-up everything to it. Movies, documents, pictures, etc.

We use portable/external hard drives to store at least 2 copies of photos/videos, sometimes kept in different locations. Yes, those video file sizes are HUGE, but worth it!
