This photo was taken while camping at table rock campsite. I shot it while my hands were freezing due to the low temp. I shot it with a nikon N60 and a Tamron 28-200 lens. Photography is my passion and I have a www.stevetodey.com to share my work with friends and strangers. I live in Los Angeles and LOVE the BWCA!!!! I'm an adventure videographer and photographer and will travel anywhere in the world to document fellow adventure seekers travels....

My wife took this picture on our trip to Perent Lake last year. We spent 2 full days in such thick fog that it became disorienting about 20 yards from shore. It is really freaky when you can't see shoreline so we just trolled along and caught Northerns for those days. Every morning I would wake up and get ready for the day with my dog, Slim Jim.

This was the end of a beautiful day on Good Lake. We spent a long day slogging through some wet portages to make it here, and we were rewarded with a wonderful sunset and a loon serenade. Worth the effort.

This is a nest I found on South Hegman March 2005. I did a walk in with my sister for some winter photos for a black and white photography class I was taking.

Not the best picture but it was a highlight of the trip for my two daughters first trip to BW.
I was making breakfast and heard, 'splash splash' behind camp. It was a moose coming out to feed. I had to wake the girls who were very sleepy and I was trying to be quiet. They both sat up and Ellen said to Emily the moose will probably be gone by the time we get out of the tent. Then they laid back down! I sternly told them to get out of bed and see the moose. They were glad they did.

After 3 crappy, overcast, wet days, the sun on the 4th day and the sunset on Seagull were spectacular.

I generally like to give loons plenty of space, but as my son and I were pushed down Knife Lake by a light breeze we were carried past members of this family. They showed no concern whatever, and a long lens enabled me to get this shot.
