I have heard reports of blue birds being found dead in nest boxes, etc. Possibly from migrating north to snow storm after snow storm. Anyone else hear reports like these?

No, but we had a lot of bluebird activity at our suet feeders during that time. We did notice a few dead Yellow-rumped Warblers that probably got into trouble during those heavy, late, snow storms.
