I have been a high school science teacher for six years. Over this six year period I have lost two students due to auto accidents. Yesterday I lost one to suicide. Today has truly been without a doubt the hardest school day that I have ever had since entering the education profession. I saw this young man every day. I don't think many days have gone by this year that this young man didn't pass by me in the hall and say good morning or asked how my day was going. Had his older brother in class two years ago. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers. I live in a rural area where folks are still close and this has hit our school and community hard.
