I buy through Amazon, but I know there must be others out there. Which ones have you had luck with?

Specific to eBooks:

I almost always use Amazon too. The kids have Nooks, so we buy eBooks through the Barnes & Noble website for them.

If you have an iPad, Apple has their iBookstore (just like iTunes - might even be a part of iTunes). Then you can read on iPhone, iPod, or iPad using their free iBooks app. It's a lot like Kindle.

For paperbacks, Amazon is generally still my go to place. All the other booksellers like B&N, Books-A-Million, etc... have websites that you can order from. I've never compared prices. Amazon has to have the most books. There's something like over 9 million titles listed.

Just found Thriftbooks.com. Used cheap books with no delivery charge.

I use Amazon pretty much exclusively, but often buy used books through them from third party stores.

For real books, I check ebay first. Next, I'll check Amazon. After that I just "google" the book title and see what websites pop up.
