New Trip Report posted by CanvasAndSteel

Trip Name: Trip with elder son, Seagull to Poplar.

Entry Point: 54

The burn area south and southwest of Seagull was very interesting, and the photos show this vividly. It was just a great trip. Excellent weather, company, etc.

Tried to see your trip report, but couldn't even after setting up a dropbox account.

Hi, Misqua and Boonie. I finally got back to this. All should be up and running now!

Nice pics, but I couldn't find the report? Love the beautiful W&C boat. Is that an old Superior Pack? Looks a lot like my old Superior #3.

Good eye, OP. It is a superior pack. One of my most prized possessions. There is no actual "report." I just didn't have time to write one up. Where does your username come from? I'm originally from central Missouri.

Thanks, I enjoyed looking at the pictures. I haven't been to most of that area and it was nice to get a good look at it.

I hope you'll eventually have time to do a brief trip report - at least an overview of the route and experience. It looks from the pictures like you must have had pretty good weather. Glad you and your son had a nice trip.

Originally from Cape Girardeau, but moved to the wife's old family farm about 15 years ago near Piedmont. Headed over to the Current for the day in a few minutes.

My wife bought me my old Superior Pack for an anniversary present in the late '80's. Still looks good and is going strong. Here's an older pic of me with it in the '90's.

Great pictures, but I could not find captions so I had no idea where they were taken.
