Heading into Moose Lake on 7/16. Want to check out the Knife and Ottertrack and plan to dip back via Ester, Hanson, Kekekabic, etc. and wind up back at Williams and Hall on Moose 10 days or so later. Now I only need to tell my wife...wish me luck!

Best of luck with your wife.

I did a similar solo. Check it out in my trip reports. I covered a good amount of water in 9 days. It was a great trip with significant varied scenery. If I could have skipped one lake, I think I would have to pick Kek and it's bloody ponds. It turned into a through lake instead of a destination lake.

My biggest fail was not ponying up the money for a tow on moose. Just suck it up and pay.

Good luck...with the tent ;). Be careful, Frenchy - it's a lightweight.

Have a good trip - looking forward to the report.

Good luck! Beautiful area. I've heard wolves every time I've been to Ester, so it's one of my favorites.

Deb gave me the green light for 10-14 days. Looking forward to meandering with no real set plan!

Have a great trip Frenchy19. Williams and Hall does have private single bunk rooms, $25 a nite when I stayed last May.
