I now dehydrate my ground beef. But, this looks like it might work for some folks when you are tired of the chicken in the pouch. Libby's Beef Crumbles

Yes these are great. I've already used them with chili mix, tacos, in spaghetti, and combined with cheesy dehydrated hashbrowns.

We are going to try out the dehydrated cheesy hashbrowns in about ten days. Glad to hear the good review.

We use these sausage crumbles at home and think they are delicious. I got the idea from one of the dads making breakfast at the fall wing night last year. I had never seen them before but now they are a staple at our house. The kids like to add them into their scrambled eggs when they are making their breakfast.

They do need to be refrigerated but I bet you could easily dehydrate them or freeze them and use in the first couple of days.

They are also fantastic in a breakfast burrito.

you would think being fully cooked that they would be similar to foil pack chicken and last several days at moderate temps....

I brought the hormel crumbles on my solo trip. I ate it on day 4. I think once it's open it should be refrigerated.

My wife got these for our canoe trip this weekend on the Lower Wisconsin River. Used them in our Pizzas we made in the Outback Oven and in our breakfast burritos. Tastes good. We just carried them in a soft sided cooler that was in our blue barrel.
