Those of you who use the Spring Creek yoke clamps: Do you have adequate head clearance with a pedestal seat? I am considering going with the homemade yoke rather than the more expensive pedestal mounted yoke.

I used Spring Creek yoke clamps on my Advantage when I owned one. They worked good on it.

Thanks for the reply. Did you use CVCA pads or some other type?

I have adjustable Bourquin pads on my yoke.

Hidden River yoke and clamps, large Superior Portage Pads . No issues with my large melon!
Yoke is placed above the forward end of the pedestal in my Advantage.
