Trying to plan a fall trip to the BWCA with my husband and our 14 month old daughter. Any suggestions for what to put on her feet to make sure they are dry and warm? Any opinion on Bogs? Baby Wellingtons? Sandals? Thanks for any tips!!

we always buy wool socks (women's small) then put them in rain boots from Wal-Mart. This basically gives them wool pants because the socks ride all the way up to there diaper lol the wool keep the feet warm even if they get wet.

We have been taking our little one up to the BWCA since she was 8 weeks old. We always use wool socks (thick or thin depending on season) and Keen hiking shoes. We also bring a pair of rain boots and a back up pair of Teva water shoes(enclosed). We have never have used sandals as I do not feel they offer enough protection. Just make sure to bring plenty of extra socks. Happy paddling :)

Yep! Assumes they can walk in the boots on regular land... but it works great for that time of year when you don't want feet to be too wet.
