Does anyone know whether Red Pine Mapping have the campsite's number noted on the map? I can't tell from their screenshots, maybe it's not zoomed in enough.

Thanks, Tod

If you are using a newer Garmin (my trials are with a 62st), you can layer maps installed on the micro chip and display multiple map info.

Thanks Butthead. Maybe that's the way I'll go. When you overlay the maps doesn't it want to put two tent icons on each campsite?

Thanks, Tod

The 62st I have shown saves and displays maps overlaid on top of each other, the camps and portages are not waypoints/tracks/routes, but map features. They have no impact on the dedicated memory limit for those items. I do not think older models feature this ability, new ETrex20 and old 60csx do not.

If two icons are shown I have not been able to see them separate as the scale is reduced to unusable levels.
