anyone travel through here recently? i was here 35 years ago, my son's father in law four years ago. it was tough then, i was wondering if anyones has been here more recently?

They were tough five years ago...but well worth it. My favorite trip ever. Can't wait to get back.

I went through there a couple of years ago. The portage from Stuart to Nibin is getting very overgrown and covered with deadfall making it hard to follow. There are some cairns along the way (including marking the portage off of Stuart) but not many. The portage from Bibon to Sterling is hard but not as bad as from Stuart to Nibin. If you do this it is much easier to find your way coming from the Stuart side then it is coming from Sunday.

It is hard work and it will take some patience but the end result is worth it.
