Harlan-We were there when the map came out and we still didn't get one?!!! Was it only for your serious campers? ;)

its a map of the entire park, not something I would navigate from though, more a general planning tool. Once a route(s)is selected, 1:50,000 scale topo maps take over with the navigation. The park is roughly 1.2 million acres in size for there are a total of 11 topo maps that make up the complete area. Most paddlers rarely need more than 3 or 4.

Hey Greg,
the map or the cabin? Maps went in the mail so they should be to you any day now....
We are beginning construction at ice out and with any luck, will have it completed by first or second week of June! it should go up quick, just a matter of lining up the materials on site and some figuring.

I like it! It is so nice to have everything updated and corrected. I had to spend a lot of time editing my GPS file of portages so the distances match the new map. I was especially pleased that they drew in the Minjim route from North Prairie to Royd(marked in gray since it is not up to specifications yet.) The path north from it through Poodle (also not finished yet) will provide some great routes in my favorite part of the park.
