Thanks

Hey Scot, there are far more seasoned members on this board who can answer this but I thought I'd share with you that the Wabakimi project has this river on its "to-do" list for 2014 summer. I haven't done Wabakimi yet(this summer will be my first) but in comparison, rivers in Quetico were high this past year during most of the season due to the late ice-out and additional precipitation. I did an early trip in May last year and most portages were sufficiently flooded and therefore camouflaged. Rapids were a bit trickier to navigate and some were impassable for solo-ing at that time. There are trip reports for the Kopka river on myccr website if you are interested. Just a couple of thoughts and my two cents if it's helpful --- looks like a great trip though!

Ask Cliff Jacobsen he recently did a trip on the Kopka and reported the river was very high with some portages under water. Sounds like the extremely rainy year of 2009.
