We were there last weekend. Most the lake is wind blown snow - lots of alternating hard pack and dunes, some deep. There was a small slush pocket near the point just NE of the landing. The narrows had a huge and deep (more than a foot of water) slush pocket that we found the hard way... If you go out that way use caution - the only way we found through was bushwacking the shoreline.
Keep in mind that was Saturday the 11th... on such a big windblown lake things can change fast for the better or worse. Not sure if they received any more significant snow or not, that could make big difference too.
