The charter of this group is to help in the editing of new version of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area: The Eastern Region and Boundary Waters Canoe Area: The Western Region. The author doing the revision is Lou Dzierzak. He is working to complete his work by the end of August, 2008.

He will be making limited revisions to the existing route descriptions based on current information and experience. Lou will be joining the group and providing us with the copy he is intending to change in each route description.

We will be looking to invite people to this group who have current and constructive input to help Lou in his effort. Please post on this message or email me with others you would like to get involved. We are not making a general posting to the entire site to try to at least at start get a manageable process underway with people who we know will provide valuable input. There is no financial compensation for anyone helping on this project, but you will be recognized in name in the book.

I'm in as well. If there's any interest in updating the photos, I have a few to select from that I'd be willing to contribute - with proper acknowledgement, of course.

Hi Nibi,

Welcome aboard!

I gave Lou a technical walk through of the site so he should be getting on board and staring up some threads.

Cheers,
- Adam

I'm doing the Saganaga, Red Rock, Alpine to Seagull loop with my wife and daughter. We may go over to Ogish as well. I'll put my wife in charge of the log.
