You're ahead of me - I haven't really started buying food for the fall trip, but I have been thinking about it. I'll probably start in a couple of months. What kind of PB?

I ordered my VIA from Amazon this week. It has gone up a little this year and had to pay shipping.

My trip is slated for the spring so I have been busy testing out "weird" seafood items and mushrooms from my local asian grocery as possible additions to dehydrated meals.

I have a stockpile of dehydrated entrees and dehydrated ground beef vacuum sealed in the freezer.

I have also stocked up on granola, freeze dried fruits and vegies, foil packed meats, and via coffee so far.

I am trying to only buy things that last or that I can use at home as I am job hunting and fearful that a new job may present itself and ruin my plan for a spring solo trip.

All my main meal are dehydrated and in the freezer and most of my other food is bought, just a few items left to buy.
Yes I do try to find stuff on sale, found that same sale on PB.

I've got a ten day ocean kayaking trip planned in two weeks so I've been dehydrating food for the last couple of weeks.

Right now I've got lasagna going in the dehydrator and it smells delicious.

I have a "case" of THESE in the freezer in the garage... No, they don't all make it on trips.

Mine were intended to be winter camping trips...
The sporadic nature of this winter had me reeling and an issue with my arm prevented me from wanting to push the envelope of my comfort zone...thus only one trip.
