New stove works well, can't wait to use it in the BW, and very light compared to a gas stove

My aunt - who was a Girl Scout Executive from the 1930's to the 1960's taught me how to make one of those when I was new to Boy Scouts. No holes in the top - or bottom perhaps - and cooked pancakes right on the can.

Still have fire bans to contend with.

Have gas for a back up, just trying to cut weight if there is no fire ban.
