Been out the last three days for some crust skiing in the woods. Able to go wherever I wanted to and stay on top of the snow. Looks like rain is on the way later this week. Snow was great this year, but temps kept me indoors more than I wanted.

we'll be skiing for awhile yet. it has been below zero every morning this week. it is snowing right now... can't see Canada across the lake (gunflint). went out with the groomer this past sunday after 7 new inches of snow. he said the trails are in the best condition of the winter right now. there is still close to a 20" base and about 3-4 feet of snow in the woods if you step off the trail.

I realize conditions could change overnight if it starts to rain, warms up... really, I'm ready for that!

Made it out yesterday morning before it thawed. Pretty nice with the 3-4" of new powder we received on Thursday this week. Will see what happens tomorrow with predicted snow.

Sounds like Mon-Tues should provide. Sure doesn't feel like it right now (50 degrees).
