New books on trips "North" are hard to find. Just finished one I think you would enjoy: Paddling to Winter by Julie Buckles. They leave Lake Superior, plaan is to paddle to Wollaston Lk in Saskatchewn, winter there, then continue North in the Spring. A good read.
Thanks for sharing. Sounds very interesting...I'm always looking for books to help me make it through either 1) the winter or 2) a windbound day. Sounds like a good one for either. :)
Got a book from mcsween in the mail...Wilderness Seasons. Life and Adventure in Canada's North. About a couple who decide to spend a year in the wilderness of British Columbia. An easy read and interesting. When I'm finished with it I told Mike that I'd pass it on. Shoot me an email with your mailing address if you're interested. First response gets it...but when you're done, pass it on. :) EDIT: the book is on its way to Deerfoot.

Currently reading "The Barefoot Sisters Walking Home" about two sisters walking North bound on the AT. They have one previous to this one called "Southbound".
