First off, thanks for the idea, Adam. I hope it takes off.

One of my favorites is Francis Lee Jaques, who illustrated a number of Sig Olson's books. Just beautiful illustrations. I have never seen or heard of any of his originals going for sale but I sure would love one.

Who are some of your favorites?

PS You can see some of my work at www.davidrandrus.com if you care to.

Very nice. I wasn't aware of him at all. I actually couldn't find images of his work on that website (just me?) but I did some googleing and found a few. Interesting story of his death.

Wow, they really changed the thomson site. I have an offline copy of the old site and it was pretty much all pictures of his work.

I consider myself a novice, but decent, wildflower photographer. But most importantly I just enjoy being out hiking, canoeing, backpacking and shooting where ever I go. This is a link to one of my albums of wildflowers that I shot while hiking in the Red River Gorge Geological Area in the mts. of eastern Ky. Always fun to share and to see others' gifts as well.
