We are headed to lake William and are wondering if we will see any other parties there, we have done this trip 8 or so times in the last 20 years and seems we always have other groups on the lake at the same time. It's such a small lake it makes for a very crowded trip. Anyone else out there headed there it's same time period ?

The lake is known for great fishing, so expect people--especially in early June.

First, for whatever reason, that lake gives me the creeps each time I have been on it.
Second, what time period are you referencing?

What species are in the lake? (in other words, does it have the depth to harbor lakers?) thanks!

No Lakers. Fish Brent for Lakers.

From William lake, Brent is best option for Lakers. In fact, I would prefer camping on Brent. Much nicer lake, better water, better campsites. The western basin and narrow channels all hold Lakers. You'll find big Waldo's around islands, midlake reefs, and points.
Tight lines.
