welcome back and congrats on the first solo. it sounds like you encountered many unprepared travelers on your journey. I had a similar experience on the mudro/fourtown portages last year, never going back there again.

Thanks for the report. I am looking forward to being in that area with my 2 sons beginning June 19th.

How do you store your eggs for a trip?

They were actually dehydrated eggs. You mix them with water stir them up, let them sit for a little bit. And then you fry them just like you would scrambled eggs. First time I had ever tried them, but I thought they were pretty darn good.

I enjoyed your trip report. I'm glad you had a great trip and good weather. I've always gone on group trips but your report made me think more about doing a solo trip one of these years.

Nice report, thanks. We exited Mudro about the same time, you might have been right behind us. We ran into the back strapped kayakers on the portage into Mudro.
