Anybody been to August Lake? It's a few miles north of Highway 1 between Isabella and Birch Lake. Superior National Forest info shows two back country campsites on this lake.

Well, I'm inclined to take it as a good sign that nobody seems to be familiar with August Lake. Maybe I will check it out this summer.
