Everyone on this "Book Club" forum has probably read this book but if not rustle up a copy. It has some funny stuff in it. The book is written by Kathleen Meyer, a longtime canoeist and guide. It is titled, "How to Shit in the Woods". Pardon my French, but that is the correct name of the book. It is available on Amazon and I see it once in a while at Half Price Book Stores.

Some of her stories put you right in the bush, laughing to yourself and saying - "been there, done that!"

I usually prefer historical books. A history of Ely and Winton since 1888 is great. For anyone interested in the great lakes, the book Great Lakes Ship Shipwrecks And Survival by William Ratigan has some very interesting stuff on Superior. And I just finished reading a book called Blood Stones set in the Ely area that I really liked.
