Just wanted to give an FYI to anyone in Menard's territory. They currently have Libby's 6oz pouches of seasoned beef, spicy beef, and corned beef on sale for a buck each. These are not dehydrated, but ready to eat pouches. I picked up a few of each to try out.

That's quite a deal considering Wal-Mart has them for $2.22 each. Let us know how they tasted. I read one review that says it smelled like dog food and was horrible tasting, yet other reviews raved about it.

Yeah, you'll always get one or two bad reviews mixed in. I read mostly good stuff as well. I actually went looking at walmart last week and couldn't even find the stuff though they listed it as in stock on the website.

I took a pack on our trip in June. I will not take it again. Gross texture, poor taste! Anthony

Which variety? I suppose it depends on individual taste and how picky a person is. I just tried the spicy beef in tacos and it wasn't bad.

The one I tried was the Seasoned Beef Crumbles. Anthony
