quote SaganagaJoe: "SaganagaJoe here - new to the group. I've been enjoying your photography for quite a while.
PS. What does "PAD" mean? :)"
Welcome to the group. The rules are pretty simple. One picture a day, outdoor themed. Canoe country pics are good but any outdoor picture works including ones you just took.

Mocha's post reminded me of a picture I took this summmer of the Red Mountains of Wyoming, heading out of Yellowstone towards Grand Teton. Yes, it was snowing in the middle of June.

quote Mocha: "this is probably one of my favorite photos, i could lose myself in daydreams looking at this photo.""
I can just smell the air looking at that photo. It smells of ice, snow, and a tinge of wood smoke.

Saganaga Lake, June 2014. Don't have a clue who these two guys are but I thought it made a nice picture. This was taken between nine and ten in the morning on June 26, 2014, on the south side of Englishman Island.

How do you get such clear pictures? What's your secret - if you want to share it? "
Joy is a great teacher, but so is dispair. Wonder is a great teacher, but so is confusion. Hope is a great teacher, but so is disillusionment. And life is a great teacher, but so is death. To deny yourself any of those in any aspect is not experiencing life totally.
