Not exactly what you're looking for but I thought I'd drop you a note anyway. I plan on going in at LIS on labor day for two weeks or so solo and then meeting up with my nephew around the Prairie-Portage area for another week. E-mail me at bennojr@yahoo if you want to see the current game plan.

I may be interested in an october joint solo in early october. But frankly, its way to early for me to plan that. If I can make a decision as late as early September, that would be great.
I am 60, this would be my second solo and first joint solo. I use a home build clc 18 kayak.

I'll monitor posts here to keep this on the list. I usually try to get in one more time during that time frame and it always ends up being a solo. Last year was Tuscarora and I had the loop of lakes in/out practically to myself. It was a great time to be in there if you like solitude :)

I am interested in a 3 or 4 person solo group with primary interest in fishing (walleye and trout). I'm looking at 9/26 through 10/3/15. I usually fish while I travel or base camp as long as there are several day trip lakes near. I turned 50 this year and my wife is a little worried when I go alone these days. I have been going to the BW/Quetico for 40 years and I don't want to stop now!

Any chance of a Quetico trip in fall 2016? I'd like to go solo with dog but probably want to do an adventurous loop north from Prairie Portage. I've vowed to never go to the BW and go to either The Q, or more remote parks like Woodland Caribou or Wabakimi. The BW just has too much traffic and the sites are overused. I'll gladly pay for the remote feel of quetico.
I will usually do 9 or 10 nights. If you don't want to be in that long it's no problem for us to seperate if we have our own permits. I will usually make two layover camps doing a loop. I'm not that hardcore of a tripper and do like to fish but not usually when travelling. I'll fish early morning or evening after camp is up.
Maybe if it works well we could go to Woodland Caribou in 2017. It's something I want to do before too long. This year it looks to be a group base camp fishing trip in early august for me.

I usually get out one more time in both September and October. A fall solo into the Q via PP would be interesting. Let me know your route and timing towards the end of the summer. I would probably go in for a shorter period of time but we could work something out I'm sure.

Any interest? I'm looking at entry 64. Would like to start off with a 1/2 day fishing in crocodile for perch and walleye. Head up to Pierz for splake. Then head over to Crystal for LT and eyes. Layover and check out Spaulding mine and brookies in Bench. From here proceeding to Pine for 2 days. Check out Johnson Falls, fish for brookies in Vale and Gadwall with maybe a bushwhack between these 2 lakes. Finish going through Little Caribou and Caribou targeting walleye. On the way up and out might even try Superior for salmon, browns and bows!

I'm interested. I usually get 1-2 solos in fall and havent been in those lakes yet.

I posted elsewhere and was directed here. Glad I was.
Unless things change I will be at wing Friday night and leaving Sunday morning, likely going in East Bearskin and headed to Crystal then up to Pine and out Caribou. Entry 9/27 and exit 10/2.
I believe 1964James will be in the same area and we will be spending some time together.

I'll be exiting 10/4 and in Grand Marais for a couple of days if you're still around then.

We are looking for a third if anyone is interested. I may go in on Saturday and Ben will follow on Sunday. This is a short enough route that someone could exit any time in a matter of hours if they desired.
