I used to have the mn topo map from gps file depot on my laptop but now that I have changed laptops I cannot get it loaded again into Garmin Basecamp. I tried loading My Trails first like suggested but that won't work either. Both folders show up but Basecamp cannot recognize the format of any of the files in the folder. Any suggestions?

You didn't mention the operating system, so I just downloaded MN Topo to my WIN 8.1 Pro laptop and installed to BaseCamp. Worked fine.
If you switched OpSystems you may need to do a fresh download and install of MN Topo.

quote Northwoodsman: "Windows 7, 64 bit."

I run that on my desktop. You may just need to try it again.

Butthead,

I am able to download and install the folders to my PC. Each folder contains dozens of .IMG, one .TYP, one .TDB, and one UNINSTALL. When I attempt to import these into BaseCamp, Basecamp cannot recognize any of these. I have downloaded 3 files for different regions/areas and they all have these same types of files. I have tried the MapSet Toolkit and the cGPSMapper file that are recommended and neither of those will work either.

Just one file is downloaded,
click on the install file and it will install to BaseCamp,

No folders involved, the file is an install.exe and self installs.

Hope that helps, shout out if it doesn't.

PS; I did not need to, "There is an issue with the 64-bit installer used in the PC version of this mapset. If this is the first mapset you are installing on a Windows 7 64 bit PC, you will need to FIRST install a mapset which used a 32-bit installer, 'My trails ....' http://www.gpsfiledepot.com/maps/view/53 works and is small in size." pay any atention to this. bh
