Camera power in the BWCA

Here is a question for the photo artists. What do you do for camera power in the BWCA? I have either taken lots of charged up batteries and hoped they held out, or used cameras that could take AA's. That way if the rechargeables died I would have a brick of AA's.

Any one try a portable solar panel?
