I've been trying to get in touch with Harlan for the past two weeks with no luck - called both numbers frequently and left e-mail messages. Plus we were supposed to meet for dinner when he was down here in Toronto last week but never heard from him. Harlan's a busy guy, I know, but I've never experienced him to just fly off the radar this way. Anyone been in touch or know his whereabouts?

I just assumed he was busy. Hope all is well.

Have you ever just flown off the radar for awhile? :-) I know I have. You ever try catch up with work when you get back?

He may be at sport shows in the USA. He told me he planned to be at Canoecopia and others.

Harlan is among the living. Long story but all is well.

I would bet a woman is involved. It's always a woman. Maybe she wears red, or maybe she's in a blue dress. Harlan is strong, dark, and handsome, sporting that facial hair....what else could it be? :)

I found Harlan at Canoecopia. He is alive and well and sends his best wishes to all. And yes, Jim is right, but methinks more than one woman is responsible for his absence. ;-)

Saw him at Copia as well. Also just spoke to him up in Red Lake. He's happy to be back home. He said that they were actually losing snow and ice but today they were getting pummeled with snow. He's looking forward to the Midwest show though. Can't wait until my trip coming up in July to see him up there....can't come too soon.
