A favorite of mine. One of our best travel days was this rainy day.

Two photos today. All I had was an old beater point and shoot camera in my pocket as I was trout fishing last week. My son and I fished this little valley at sun up. The panorama barely shows an eagle a perched away from the nest. As we worked the stream closer to the nest it also moved closer.

I don't know what these bugs are but there were swarms that hatched the other night and you could walk without running into them. I assume they are much like a mayfly but a fraction of the size, hatch, have sex and die....all in a few hours.

There are a few different species of mayflies of all different sizes. ....not sure if they are scientific names, but in fly fishing terms there are March browns, blue winged olives, hexes, and I few more I can't think of

One of the happiest things I see each spring, loons began nesting today near our home. Not the best pic, it was raining pretty good and was not using a tripod.

Whoa...Now that is frameable. You should try to sell a few photographs with your paintings.
