I know that Thunder Point is on Knife Lake, and I know it is right before the south arm of knife lake. I have been able to narrow down to two spots, however I am unsure of which spot. Can anyone help identify Thunder Point?

Thunder Point is at the west end of the large peninsula in the center of this map.

Is the trail up to thunder point north of the point or on the south side of the peninsula?
I've paddled by it many times but never gone to the top. I'm heading in Weds with another dad and 6 teenagers and thought this would be a fin midday diversion.

A little south of the main overlook.

There is a gravelly landing area with room for several canoes. Not hard to find once you get within 100 yards or so.
