Intermediate....maybe. Your paddle to portage ratio says it was more than intermediate. If you factor in time of year and weather it would be more than intermediate. As a solo the route is more challenging.

The answer to that question is only relevant to the person taking the trip. How did this trip compare in difficulty to previous trips? Each person will have a different reference point. I would rate it as you saw it in relation to your experience. The report itself will help others determine the degree of difficulty it will be for them.

Looking forward to seeing the report.

Any time you can write in the snow on your overturned canoe it is beyond intermediate ... at least by my standards.

I've have 4 days done, it's a slow process with the picture thing, going camping and fishing Friday and Saturday,I'll try to get one more day done tonight, and Sunday I'll work on it some more.

I'm a cold weather person, so the temps weren't that bad for me, just my hands got a little cold the day I paddle in the snow, then I switch to my Neoprene gloves and hands were warm again.

Yeah, it's always a slow process for me too, writing it all up and going through all the pictures. And the longer the trip, the longer it takes to write the trip report ;). I've found that if I don't stick with it and get it done shortly after I get back, I might never get it finished. But don't rush, housty - I don't leave until Sept. ;). Have a good weekend.
