I have GPSmap 76S and am using mapsource version 4.09. I am trying to plop the bwca portage and campsite waypoint data onto the topo map but am getting error messages.

I right click bwca-camp-port-wpt.mps and save on my desktop and when I double click the file to run it, I get "Mapsource cannot read this file because it was created with a different version of mapsource."

Can anyone please help? Thank you so much!

Try the free Garmin BaseCamp, new version of Mapsource.

Thank you. It ended up being a patch for mapsource that I needed to install. Basecamp looks interesting though, thanks for the heads up
