I just finished reading the delightful book by Bob Cary titled "Tales from Jackpine Bob". The book is a series of stories selected from Bob's forty-plus years in the North Woods. Each story written in his delightful, accomplished manner of painting a vivid word picture and allowing the reader to feel part of the happening. A great read for any canoeist/fisherman/hunter.

Agreed! Love all of Bob Cary's books. I miss his weekly articles in the Ely Echo.

Bob was an amazing guy I have many of his books and wish I could have met him. A fantastic artist too!
