I love eating it cold; sliced with salad dressing (French or Ranch). Anyone have a recipe using it?

I've heard of people making kraut out of them. I just like peeling them and eating them like an apple.

I don't know that I've ever had kohlrabi, but one of the guys I work with raves about it; he sautés it in olive oil with garlic. I'm going to have to get some and give it a try.

Try allrecipes.com and search the name of the ingredient you want recipes for and you will find lots.

I had some kohlrabi a couple of weeks ago and thought it pretty good - not sweet, not bland, a little spicy/peppery taste to me. I just sautéed it in olive oil with garlic, a little salt and pepper. Part way through I added a little red pepper.

tried some raw too and that was fine.

I think something like that would work very well.
