On average about three weeks

3 weeks sounds about right. It took me longer to get my passport card than the RABC.

You also have the option of driving to International Falls and crossing the border to obtain an RABC. This works when you are in a bind. Wish these were good for three years, like they used to be.

Been getting permits since they were required.
I don't ever remember being good for 3 years? But do know if you timed it right like say after your birthday you could get almost 2 years.

But yes,I do agree it would be nice to be good for three years,I would be even willing to pay the same annual fee multiply by 3 just for convience(sp).

I buy my Ontario-Quetico fishing license for 3 years at a time now.

I don't recall the 3 year RABC but do recall that instead of all the documents all you had to do was send in last years RABC and payment. Maybe there was a three year limit to that renewal.

You didn't need a passport at one time.

Yup. Still don't though for RABC. Just a passport is enough or a primary and a secondary if other.

What about the crossing at Pigeon River? Can you get one there? How long is the process inn person and how long is it good for?
