Has anyone taken the Wood Lake entry point? Some say steep, but is it an good wide path? Looking to try it out with the kayak this fall.
Also, any problems with the parking lot being right on the main road?

I'm just here to give my opinion...If you don't like it, ignore it.

Path was excellent.
You could take any boat down that path...3/4 of a mile is a long ways though.
There are two row boats and a square back canoe at the landing...log chained to a tree stump.
Portage does indeed leave out of the parking lot and not the side of the road.

I'm just here to give my opinion...If you don't like it, ignore it.
