That looks like a keeper Mike. I'm just starting to get back into tying after sitting out for a few years. If I tie anything picture-worthy I'll post it.

On an unrelated note, I was just out in Manchester, Vermont for a wedding and I got to spend a day at the Orvis headquarters out there, it was quite the experience. They had an outlet store, their flagship retail store, an enormous trout pond/river, a rod making factory, and a casting school. Too many opportunities to break the bank in one day.

Our 22 year old grandson is starting to fly fish. I am tying several flies to give him for Christmas. A mix of flies from trout, bass and bluegill flies.

That's a great gift. My Great uncle once gave me a number of hand-tied flies when I was starting out and it was a very memorable gift. I'm sure your grandson will appreciate it.
