Am looking at last week in Sept to allow for Laker fishing. Would like to schedule around Fall MN wing night also. Thinking of PP entry looping through Agnes, Kawnipi, Falls Chain and Louisa.

Is this a fishing oriented trip?

Thinking of entering 9/25/16 and exiting 10/1/16. I generally plan to fish the first 2 hrs of the day and some during travel, weather and time permitting. I get to fish a lot at home so my primary goal up north is to catch walleye or trout for dinner. Once this goal is accomplished I do not need to fish any more for the day. Would like to plan a layover day on Louisa to target lakers. A group of 4 with 2 permits would allow for flexibility in travel, fishing and camp site selection.

I'll post just to track the thread. I usually get a trip or two in during September. Getting into the Q at that time for lakers would be great.

Has the Fall MN wing night date and location been set yet?

It's usually posted in the General Discussion or Wingnight forums. Last year's was Sept 26th weekend. I haven't seen anything yet but that might be a good target date to plan around (3rd w/e in Sept). Just a thought.

I'm changing my trip plans this Fall. I am now going into Beaverhouse with plans to go to Jesse/Lonely/Jean/Badwater. Plan on leaving from the MN Wing night early Saturday 9/24/16. I'm going solo but others are welcome to join.
